Keto Breakfast Sausage

Ingredients

  • 1 ½ pounds ground pork turkey, or chicken
  • 1 ½ tablespoons maple syrup substitute
  • ½ teaspoon dried sage
  • ½ teaspoon dried fennel seeds
  • ½ teaspoon dried thyme
  • ¼ teaspoon dried rosemary
  • 1 teaspoon sea salt
  • 1 teaspoon fresh ground black pepper

Instructions

  • In a medium bowl, combine the meat, maple syrup substitute, sage, fennel seeds, thyme, rosemary, salt, and pepper.
  • Shape into 6 to 8 patties, about 3 inches wide. Place a dent in the center of each patty.
  • Chill the patties for at least 30 minutes.

Stove Top Instructions

  • Heat a skillet to medium-high heat.
  • Spray with avocado oil.
  • Cook the patties for 8 minutes.
  • Flip and cook for 6 to 10 minutes longer, until the patties are brown and no longer pink in the center.

Air Fryer Instructions

  • Set your air fryer to 400 degrees.
  • Place the patties in a single layer, being careful not to overcrowd.
  • Cook for 7 minutes.
  • Flip and cook for another 5 to 10 minutes.
