Ingredients

  • 1 tablespoon avocado oil
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon sea salt
  • ½ teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes
  • ½ teaspoon fresh ground black pepper
  • 1 pound frozen salmon filets
  • ¾ cup water
  • ¼ cup lemon juice
  • 2 tablespoons coarsely chopped parsley

Instructions

  • In a small bowl, combine the avocado oil, garlic powder, salt, red pepper flakes, and fresh ground black pepper.
  • Drizzle over the salmon filets.
  • In the bottom of your instant pot, combine the water, lemon juice, and parsley.
  • Place the trivet in your Instant Pot.
  • Place the frozen salmon filets on top of the trivet.
  • Close the lid and set to sealing. Set the Instant Pot to Manual High Pressure for 5 minutes. (Add additional time for thick or especially large filets.)
  • When the time is up, do a quick release. If you would like your salmon to be a bit more well-done, leave the lid on before removing for up to 5 minutes.
