Frying
Heat ½ inch of oil over medium-high heat in a large skillet. Cook the tortillas in batches, turning once, until golden brown. It should take about 1 minute per side.
Remove to a plate lined with paper towels and sprinkle immediately with salt.
Allow to Cool
Baking
Preheat the oven to 350° F.
Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and place the tortilla pieces on the baking sheet.
Brush with oil and sprinkle with salt. Bake for about 20 minutes, flipping once, until golden brown.
Allow to cool on a wire rack.
Air Fryer
Heat the air fryer to 325° F. Brush or spray the tortillas with oil and sprinkle with salt.
Cook for 7 minutes. Flip, and cook for 7 minutes longer, until golden brown.
Cool on a wire rack.
