- 6 ounces shredded mozzarella cheese 1 ½ cups
- 2 ounces cream cheese diced
- 1 large egg
- 1 cup almond flour
- 1 tablespoon plain whey protein powder optional
- 2 teaspoons Italian Seasoning
- ½ teaspoon sea salt
- ¼ teaspoon fresh ground pepper
Preheat oven to 400 degrees.
Combine the mozzarella cheese and cream cheese in a medium saucepan.
Cook over medium heat until the cheeses are melted, stirring often. (You may also use the microwave.)
Remove from heat and stir in egg, almond flour, protein powder, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.
Transfer to a sheet of parchment paper and knead the dough until it is well combined.
Roll out into a circle.
Bake on a parchment-lined pizza pan for 8 minutes.
Flip and bake 5 minutes longer.
Add toppings and cook until the cheese is melted and heated through.
