Our entire family loves pizza, and this Bacon Cheeseburger Pizza is a particular favorite around our house. Perfectly seasoned ground beef, red onion, bacon, cheddar cheese, and tomato is layered on a Fathead Pizza Crust. Top it all off with a briny mustard-mayo sauce, shredded spinach, and pickles, and you've got the best of both worlds - the flavor of a bacon cheeseburger in flavor-packed pizza.

I am the kind or woman who likes to have it all. Sometimes, I find myself craving both a cheeseburger and pizza.
When the mood strikes me, this Bacon Cheeseburger Pizza recipe is the perfect solution.
It is like having my cake and eating it too, only a whole lot more keto-friendly than most cakes.
I first made this recipe about three years ago, and it has made a regular appearance on our weeknight dinner rotation since. Try it, and I think you will agree, this one is a keeper!
Ingredients
- Fathead Pizza Dough or Cauliflower Pizza Crust: These low-carb alternatives provide a great base for your pizza while keeping it keto-friendly. If you have family members who aren't on a low-carb diet, feel free to make theirs with a regular pizza crust.
- Ground Beef: I like 85/15 in this recipe, but feel free to use what you have on hand.
- Keto Ketchup: Make your own or use a sugar-free version from the store.
- Yellow Mustard: Brings a zesty punch to balance the flavors.
- Sea Salt: Kosher salt or table salt are also options.
- Ground Pepper: Freshly ground is best.
- Red Onion: If you are strictly tracking carbs, watch the portions here.
- Bacon: Pork, turkey, or beef bacon all work here.
- Tomato: Make sure you slice them thin to keep the carbs in check.
- Shredded Cheddar: Grate your own for the best melting, and to avoid extra additives.
- Mayonnaise: Creamy texture that ties the sauce together.
- Pickle Brine: Infuses the sauce with a subtle pickle flavor for an extra layer of deliciousness.
- Pickle Slices: Perfect for a crunchy, tangy topping.
- Spinach: Adds a fresh, leafy element to balance out the richer ingredients.
Tips and Tricks
- Pre-Cook Your Toppings: Cook the ground beef and bacon ahead of time for easy meal prep.
- Drain Excess Grease: After cooking the beef and bacon, drain any excess grease. This keeps your pizza from becoming too oily while maintaining those rich, delicious flavors.
- Garnish with Fresh Ingredients: Add fresh spinach and pickle slices after baking to keep the flavors bright and perky, providing a refreshing contrast to the rich toppings.
- Customize to Taste: Feel free to adjust the mustard and mayo sauce amounts to suit your preference. A bit more mustard can add an extra zing if you’re a fan of bold flavors.
How to Make Bacon Cheeseburger Pizza
First, start by making your pizza dough and para-baking it according to the recipe instructions. You can see my keto pizza dough recipe here.
Next, you want to cook your ground beef in a skillet over medium-high heat. When it is browned through, drain the extra grease and transfer it into a bowl. Don't skip draining it - I know fat is good on keto, and the grease can add flavor, but it doesn't play nice with pizza dough. Extra oil = soggy pizza.
While the ground beef is cooking, measure out your ketchup, mustard, salt, and pepper. Slice your onion and tomato, shred your cheese, and cook your bacon.
After that, toss the ground beef with the ketchup, mustard, and seasonings.
Spread the ketchup over the pizza crust. Top with beef, onion, tomato, and cheese. Bake for 8 to 10 minutes, until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
While the pizza cooks, make the mayo sauce by mixing the mayonnaise, mustard, and pickle brine.
When the pizza is done, drizzle it with the mayo sauce. Top with spinach and serve warm.

Delicious! Tasty and full of flavour! We used store bought pizza dough (I'm lazy, I know). It was one of the best pizzas I ever had. We'll probably make it again for a family dinner next week, because it's so easy to just double the recipe and make more
